allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Colours of Rhythm <\/strong>(Penang-YTL Arts Festival, Dewan Sri Pinang 2002)<br>&#8220;Colours of Rhythm&#8221; was APU&#8217;s 1st album released in the year 2002 featuring its brand of world fusion music. It was then that APU was invited to perform at the prestigious Rainforest World Music Festival, held annually in Kuching, Sarawak. APU was clearly a crowd favourite, motivating everyone to move and dance along to the ferocious drumming and rhythms of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rhythm With A Heart <\/strong>(The Actor&#8217;s Studio Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur 2001)<br>&#8220;Rhythm With A Heart&#8221; was produced in aid of the Spastic Children&#8217;s Association of Selangor &amp; Federal Territory (SCAS) where members of the Aseana Percussion Unit have been conducting practical rhythm sessions on a weekly basis with the kids based on a specially designed programme called the Rhythm Interactive Spastic Enabler&#8217;s (R.I.S.E.) Programme. A special performance segment by children from the SCAS was included in this show. The show was divided into different segments that were designed and created around drums, percussions and rhythm. A special segment involving the use of everyday household items such as dustbins, &#8220;batu tumbuk&#8221;, kuali, brooms, etc, was also included within the programme.
